Nothing is random. Every detail matters.

Warehouse interior with shelves, ladders and scattered boxes

Explore abandoned places

Exploring abandoned places is essential to discovering important information on the selected map, allowing you to progress and gain an advantage over other players based on the chosen game mode. Find the generators to reduce the visibility of others, collect missing parts to drive a vehicle, move objects, or create your own traps to imprison an opponent.

A player crawling through a narrow vent

Progress through the adventure with your friends

Choose the map and the game mode, then invite your friends with the invitation system built into Urbex Murder. The in-game voice chat lets you speak only with nearby players, and you can find a walkie-talkie on the map to give to a player of your choice for distant communication.

An old subway train waiting in the tunnel

Diverse maps, unique scenarios

Multiple maps do not just mean a visual change. Each map has its own story and mechanics, each location affects the difficulty of progression, and depending on the map you will encounter unexpected strangers. Replaying the same map gives you a different experience with random events.

Dark hall with tall windows and debris on the floor

Solve puzzles and rescue your friends

Influence the progress of other players through game mechanics. Block your opponents from certain areas to waste their time, set traps, or immobilize a player in a location of your choice. Barricade all exits, or cut the power to spot opponents with their flashlights on. This is just a preview, and there are many more mechanics to discover.

Tape 04Coming soon

Murder Mode

One of you finds the hidden object and secretly becomes the enemy, tasked with stopping everyone else from escaping. The others must solve puzzles, identify the traitor and rescue captured teammates. Murder Mode is nearly finished, and we're polishing it to make it as intense as possible.

Who is Rantabl?

Rantabl is a team that has been around since 2019. In the beginning, we focused primarily on creating tutorials about how to make a game. Since 2023, a team of three people has come together to work on developing our own game, Urbex Murder. We're passionate about combining our experience and creativity to bring this project to life.

When was the game released?

Urbex Murder launched in Early Access on Steam on October 24, 2025. Since then, we've kept improving it with regular updates based on your feedback. Stay tuned for more!

Why Early Access?

We offer Early Access to allow players to experience Urbex Murder from its early stages, give their feedback, and influence the final development of the game.

How will the full version differ from Early Access?

We plan to add new maps, more puzzles, and a co-op mode where one player may become a hidden enemy after finding a secret item. Others will work together to solve puzzles, identify the traitor, and escape. We also aim to improve visuals, audio, and overall gameplay as development continues.

Is there a demo available?

The demo was our pre-launch preview: a single-player experience on a limited map. Now that Urbex Murder is out in Early Access, you can play the full game on Steam, including the multiplayer mode without restrictions.

Will the game only be available on Steam?

For the time being, yes. Urbex Murder is available on Steam first. However, in the future, we are considering expanding to other platforms, such as Epic Games, to reach more players.

Is the game short-lived?

Urbex Murder offers different modes and scenarios depending on the map you're playing, each with unique challenges. The goal is to explore urban locations (urbex) while facing unexpected situations and solving puzzles to survive. We keep releasing updates that add new gameplay elements, and an advanced multiplayer mode is on the way, ensuring the game continues to evolve.

What is the price?

You'll find the price for your region on our Steam page. The price will remain the same during Early Access. After the final release, the price may increase if significant new content or features are added, and any change will be clearly communicated in advance. Our goal is to offer players excellent value for a game that will continue to grow and improve over time.

How can I give feedback?

We collect feedback through Discord, social media and email, allowing players to report bugs, suggest ideas, and vote on upcoming improvements and content.
